Marketing Best Practices:  Data Is The Key

In previous messages I have disclose a lot of information to help companies generate more revenue and profit than ever before. Generally, I will continue to write with the approach there are no secrets. This time it is different. A number of years ago when I was working for Arther Andersen & Co. (pre- Enron) we had an entire training module named "Information for Motivation" While the techniques being used today have been refined, the principle is the same. Look at the front page article in the Wall Street Journal this week on Best Buy. Their mission is to fire the bottom 20% of their customer base who costs them money. Data is the key.
